We are running Symposium 4.5 web and 6.0

We are in process to upgrading to IE 8.0...I am running IE7 on CCMA 6.0 and appears to be fine. ARe there patches we need to run on 4.5 and 6.0 to be compatible wiht IE7 or IE8?

For CC6 update to SU08 (or at least SUS0702) to be compatible with IE8.

For the Symposium 4.5 release "You are expected to upgrade" to be compatible with IE8. I've seen a (non-supported) workaround though: via editing the webclient main-html-page (on the webclient 4.5 server). If you open the symposium webclient page a compatibility check is done and that check can be edited. (look in the HTML text of the main page for 'compatible', 'Internet Explorer 5.0' and change that part via Notepad. Make a backup of that HTML file first!).
Sorry I do not have specific information which file to change and which text to edit but with basic HTML knowledge you should be able to find the main page of the Symposium webclient on the server and edit it with notepad.
