Changed IP address on Client Side and now Symposium wont start properly, getting the above code in Event Properties and also indications that two disk drives may be close to full.

Cannot locate this code in NTPs, also tried to delete the files on the drives with no success.

Any ideas?

I needed to bump this!
John, any ideas on this !

What IP address did you change? The Symposium IP address? Which one? CLAN or ELAN? Did you do it from Network configuration on the server?

Symposium errors codes are not in the NTPs, unless you're using 1.0.

If you're using the "fat" client, double click the alarm and click on the more info button for more detail.

Or use the event browser from the server.

As for disk drive may be close to full, depending on which drive its talking about. If its the DB drives, this is normal...but check the drive and make sure no one stored any files and tried to installed apps/utilities on the DB drives. If its the C/D drive, start deleting files that shouldn't be there. C is the OS, D is the Nortel applications.

The IP address was the CLAN and using PC anywhere logged into the server.

Also, on the drives, these are split into 5 drives, a c, d, f, g and h. It appears that the G and H are the ones full and hold database type files. I copied the files to C and D to try and start deleting the files. Once the copies were added to C and D I tried deleting files from G and H but I get an error for a sharing or in use violation and it wont delete the copies.

I also tried under disk management to extend the drives as there is free space showing. They system is not allowing this either and only will let me create a new logical drive.

Well the CLAN address change has to be done on the server and you also have to use the Server Configuration Wizard and make the appropriate changes there.

As far as what you did with your drive space, Sybase is "very particular". Did your vendor or Nortel assist you with this?

Careful, there, w8lifter! Those files on G & H are your Sybase database files, as lretrievers said.

Sybase will mark those drives as 90% full, and that generates those messages. So that's normal, unless additional files were put there that Symposium did not.

Did you change the CLAN IP address on the server? If so, there is a very particular process for this, and that may be your problem. Can you describe how you changed it?
