Hi,

Since symposium does not come with an audit trail, has anybody come across or developed a change control system to monitor/track ALL script changes on symposium Master, Primary & Secondary scripts.

Any information would be helpfull

Symposium/Contact Center 6.0 has an audit trail.

I'll look into 5.0 and 4.2 during the week.

whenever a script is change/create/modified a time/date stampt is applied and also the login id that was used to make the changes.

Personally, I've always changed the sysadmin password and never gave that out except to our TAC center. Once the sysadmin password was changed, I would create additional desktop user for anyone that needed access. Now, anytime any changes was made it would reflect the login Id that was used instead of admin. This feature has always been here, since 1.0

We have a change history at the top of each script. This also includes the original author, any 0800/0845 numbers associated, background info etc.

Of course, this relies on people updating the change history. You can lead a horse to water, but a pencil must be lead...
