SCCS 5.0/Web Client 4.5: One of my call center supervisors has created a graphical report that’s not doing what he envisioned it would do. Essentially, he wants a real-time, graphical report that will provide a running total of a given statistic over the course of a day, e.g. “calls answered” for the various applications. When creating the report, under “Data collection mode” the only options are “Moving window” and “Interval-to-date”. Neither are what he wants. He envisions the data starting at 8:00 a.m., and building over the course of the entire day, then starting over from scratch the next day (whether manually or automatically). Moving window refreshes every six seconds, and interval-to-date refreshes every 15 minutes. Is something like what he wants possible with SCCS 5.0? If not, how about 6.0, to which we are upgrading soon? Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Under Configuration and then Real Time Statistics, you can set the interval-to-date to start time (in your case 8:00am) and to run for a period of time up to 24 hours. The time period has to be a factor of 24 (15 minutes, 30 minutes, 45 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, 3 hours, 4 hours, 6 hours, 8 hours, 12 hours).

Are you 7 x 24? If not, for many of my clients, setting the interval to start at 8:00am and to last for 8 or 12 hours is sufficient.

One note: when you save the new real time statistic setting, the real time displays will all zero out and start fresh (like the beginning of the 15 minute interval that you currently have). So, if you don't want to freak out your users, adjust the setting at the beginning or end of the day.

Thanks. I should have added that I didn't want to change the interval statistics for the entire enterprise. This is just one group. I appreciate the feedback though.

To follow up, I didn't realize that the 15 minute interval in Real Time Statistics was different than the fixed 15 minute intervals in Historical statistics. Looks like I can change the RTS settings with impunity, as long as no one else is really doing much with this particular data field.

That is correct. The only change your users could see is that the RTDs zero out when you make the change. This interval only controls the interval-to-date for RTDs.
