Recently when adding scripts to the master script I ran into the following
"Script activan was successful, but an application cound not be created because the system has reached the limit"

Was told by vendor that
"Maxium number of applications (Exit point from MA Script) is 500. They beleive that we have reached said limit.

When I do a count of the scripts that the MA calls there is only 235 lisited.

Does anyone know about the 500 limit, and where I can check against it?

Running SCCS 5.0

The limit is actually 505. You may have reached the script character limit in the master script which is 50,000.

One way to check if you have reached the application limit is to open " Configuration - Historical Stats (I think). On the front page it lists things like number of agents licensed, skillsets used, applications used etc. It may be that the application limit has been set low, in which case just alter it.

Captian beat me to it. The number of applications, skillsets, CDNs, etc that you can have active in symposium is limited by the parameters you specify in historical statistics. In effect, you are telling Symposium to only collect data on the number of applications (scripts) defined in Historical Statistics. Symposium will not let you activate additional scripts beyond this limit. So you have to come back and raise the limit. The error wording is not useful and can create the impression that something more sinister is happening.
