Hi all

I was wondering if someone could help explain what Symposium Link is.

I currently have SCCS 5.0, 81C, and 3 CTI servers. for some reason ANI is not being passed to my CTI servers. However symposium does recieves ANI. I verified this using the Call-by-Call report.

when i asked my CTI vender what the problem is, she is saying that the symposium link has been lost between symposium and the CTI servers

What is symposium link? Is it a service on the symposium server? is there a way to see if the link is active?

can anyone give me a quick explanation as to what it is?
Thanks for you help!!

Symposium Link is indeed a service on the server. It is the CTI interface between the Meridian SCCS and the CTI servers and is responsible for transmitting all the information the CTI servers need to see. Not sure how to verify whether the service is running, I think if you look on the system monitor on the SCCS server it's the MLSM process - Meridian Link Services Monitor.

My experience is that even in case SMonW shows MLSM_UP, it is not sure the interface is running correctly. Stop and start CCMS MLSM_Service - it could help.
