I am trying to "out" a phone so that I can change the ACD queue it is in. We use Genesys through Simposium Link.

We do not use the full Symposium Call Center Server. There are no phones listed in the switch administration view of the SMI window.

My Genesys guru says that there should be no need to de-acquire the anything because Genesys doesn't acquire anything, but he went ahead and deleted the DN for the phone I was working on and I got the same message when trying to "out" it.

After talking to Nextira they said that the switch doesn't acquire its own TN's either. The only thing in the middle is Symposium Link....

I found this when looking through the Nortel Documentation:

TSM—TSM is responsible for handling MLSM requests to acquire and monitor resources, and to register applications and DNs. It is also responsible for all of the message flow between the MLSM process and the Meridian 1 over the Application Module Link (AML).

Unfortunately, that is not enough for me to find and use TSM. I don't really even know if it has an interface to use or if it is just describing part of the software.

The only way I've been able to de-acquire any of the phones is to change the key 0 to be "adl 16" - get some error, then change key 0 to be whatever I want. I don't think this is the right way of doing it, so if anyone knows of the correct way of de-acquiring a phone, please let me know.

I called Nextira again and got the responce I was looking for:
ld 48
>dacr agt xx-xx-xx-xx (Where xx-xx-xx-xx = TN)

Hope this can help someone else.

To add to that, you can deacquire a CDN in LD 23:

REQ DACR
TYPE CDN
CUST 0
CDN xxxx

Of course, you cannot reacquire the TNs or CDNs through the PBX, that will take the Symposium or 3rd party application.
