tHi - I've got a Symposium Express center, version 4. I'm getting the following two error messages when I open up Symposium:
1)Server Response timed out
2)Unable to retrieve information from the server
Some history: Yesterday evening, my call pilot locked up. I stopped symposium services, and rebooted the CP. I waited until I could terminal service to the CP and hit the admin page before I restarted Symposium. Symposium didn't restart cleanly (has happened before)so I rebooted. Got error messages after reboot about unable to connect to TN's and extensions, so tried to stop the services again. Stopped services, then said, "Resetting database". I did an end-program and rebooted the box. After reboot, couldn't see jack for call treatments, agents, etc.. Did a database restore from backup - still having same problem.
My call center - miraculously - is limping along, though some call's are routing "funny" - at least they're getting answered.
Anyone have an idea as to what those error messages are referring to? Does it mean itself or the call pilot?
