symposium express announcements

Hi,
I am try to set up greeting and wait announcements on symposium express. We are using meridian mail announcements. I have set up the announcements in meridian mail but am unsure to which number should be entered in the "callers will be transfered to this number to here announcements". I can hear each announcement by accessing the individual dn of each announcement but cannot find which dn allows all announcements to be played by referencing the id.

That should be the ACD queue where your ports are programmed (you do need to dedicate ports in a separate queue and not use the general queue, or you will have problems). Then you will have another field to fill in that is the Announcement ID. Make sure that in MMail, in the VSDN table, you have that Announcement ID listed and connected to the announcement.

Thanks for your help unfortunately I have some pretty basic questions.

What has to be configured on the ACD front. I presume I create a new ACD in LD23. From there I am a bit lost. What ports do I dedicate to the queue and where do I enter the announcement ids?

Sorry for what I am sure are very stupid questions.
