Symposium Exp 4.2 Reports Window

I created about 20 user-defined reports. Whenever I make any one of the reports active and then attempt to re-open the reports window, it is very slow to respond. Same slowness is detected when selecting the "output" tab in the properties of a user-defined report and when saving a user-defined report. It is not unusual for it to take nearly 60 seconds. Ideas? Thanks.
