Hello,
I have a machine that can log into the symposium server but when trying to ope reports or displays gets this error:


Unable to connect to the symposium server.
Please check whether the network is working properly.
If the problem persists, please contact your support organization.

I get this no matter what account I log in with.

Any help is apppreciated.


 
Seems that the service nioam_s.exe is not working properly. kill the task in the task manager, start it from the bin/iccm folder and you're on your way again.
HOWEVER
Your realtime statistics for the day are ruined
 
I don't see this exe running and I can't find it on the hard drive. We have other machines with the symp client working.
 
check your firewall settings, network location routing, service packs (pop up blocking features), antivirus, patch level of the SMI...
