Symposium client on new pc

We're successfully running the classic client on many pcs at our locations. We bought a handful of new pcs and can't get the client to operate properly on them. We get application errors on most of the real time stuff. Both old & new are windoze XP. We run client 4.01.07 rev 6 on most and we tried dropping back to rev 5 an well as with/without client patch 9.

Anyone have similar troubles? I'm hesitant to open a vendor ticket just yet since (at least on the surface) it appears to be something related to the new hardware, not the client software.

Looks like client PEP 10c will fix it.

I believe the latest client PEPs are 15, 17 and 18. Be sure to read the read me files for the proper order as it isn't the order you would think it should be. The PEP level needs to be current to work with the new operating systems.

Also, on the XP Pro machines, be sure to look at the Personal Firewall settings or you may have to disable it for the RTD to work correctly.
