Symposium Client 4.0-4.2

I am having a problem trying to install the Symposium client. It comes up and says that it cannot install Sybase and then the installation stops. We've tried this at several different computers on our network and we've downloaded the newest MDAC from Microsofts website but it still will not install. This must be a known issue. Does anyone know how to make it work?

The FAQ didn't specifically help me, but my vendor sent me version 6.3 and after following these instructions, it works.


Here are the steps you need to take to load the SCCS Thick Client:

Open the folder named ASE12CLT
Run the Setup.exe file. This will load Sybase.
Reboot
Go back to the main folder and load Symposium Call Center Server (Client).Msi
Reboot
