Hi we currently use an outside provider to queue calls before they hit our system , we also use this provider to give us voice form services for busy periods.

when the call hits our system one of our voice messages in meridian mail gives an option to press one to leave a voice message and this then calls out to the voice service provided by the operator.

Our problem is that the line provider stats for instance say that they offered 240 calls to our system and symposium says it has been offered over 1000.

I have inherited the job of looking after a system with very little relevant paperwork of the setup and am just trying to tie up the figures at the moment

Any help with explaning these numbers would be great

Thanks

Hi,
Is hard to understand it without the configuration details but my idea is that maybe Symposium plays ping-pong with the external provider or with the MeridianMail and the same call comes to Symposium 3 or 4 times

Regards

Which report are you getting the stats out of Symposium from ?
If you're using a CDN to transfer the call to MM, then I'd suggest doing a CDN report.
It's possible you're seeing the stats from the Master Script which will tally up the calls for all CDN's.

Good judgement
comes from experience,
which usually
comes from bad judgement..

Thanks Guys - I had been running CDN report and application performance report but it turns out the provider was giving us the wrong call stats.
