Symposium - Announcements and Menu Prompts?

Hi Everyone!
I need some help with Symposium. I hope someone out there can help. I currently have Symposium 4.2 and will upgrade to 5.0 soon, however, all our announcements and menu prompts for Symposium calls are in Meridian Mail. Since that (MerMail)is going away, we are trying to find any other equipment that can interface with Symposium and provide the announcements and menu prompts? We are looking at MIRANs, but not sure if it can handle the menu prompts. Does anyone know if MIRANs will work or is there other equipment that can work with Symposium? Any information anyone can provide is appreciated! We are looking at replacing MerMail with another vendor, perhaps Avaya's voice messaging system or Cisco's, but want to make sure we have the Symposium requirements resolved.

Hi,

You should have upgraded to CallPilot before 1/1... They had a nice offer...
Still I believe CallPilot is a better alternative.

Call pilot is the only one that'll work.

You don't have to get rid of your mail as it works with sccs5 and even 6.

I'm sure your maintainer can come up with a offer to upgrade to call pilot.

It's not getting any smarter out there. You have to come to terms with stupidity, and make it work for you.

Contact Center 6 requires Call Pilot 4.0 to work correctly. If you are using Access Ports, you can upgrade to a Call Pilot; if you are using MMail to front end and then sending the call to the Symposium, Interalia has a product called an XMU that allows you to do some voice menus on it.
