Symposium and DWC Button

Hi,

I need to have the "DWC" button working on an ACD set controlled by Symposium. I was told that DWC ( the button that shows calls waiting in queue ) is not supported with Symposium. Is there a way around that ? All I am looking for is a phone button that will flash when there are calls waiting and no agents to answer.

The "DWC" key programmed on a supervisor set cannot be controlled by symposium. You have to program one "DWC" key for one ACD Queue (Meridian 1). You cannot controll a sum of queues or CDN's on the phone set. Actually there is no work around.

Thank you. We called Nortel and they confirmed that DWC is not supported with Symposium.
