Hi,

I need to have the "DWC" button working on an ACD set controlled by Symposium. I was told that DWC ( the button that shows calls waiting in queue ) is not supported with Symposium. Is there a way around that ? All I am looking for is a phone button that will flash when there are calls waiting and no agents to answer.

Thanks,

The DWC button must be assigned to an ACD queue - the same one as the phone is mapped to. Then key xx DWC 1234 will be operational. Once the phone is re-acquired in Symposium, it will show the primary queue the Agent is assigned to. If the phone has CLS 'SPV' assigned to it, the button will only ever display the ACD style display not like a phone with 'AGT' in CLS.
I have found, though, that the key doesn't seem to flash - the Agent has to keep hitting the button. If someone knows how to make it flash, that would be good... Also, someone clarifying exactly what they've experienced with agents on multiple skillsets - what queue does the call wait key reflect?
NB There's a Symposium section now at forum959
