Symposium 4.2 to 5.0 upgrade

Does anyone have any comments about the new Symposium 5.0 and web client software in the new release. In particular, are there any hugh gains moving away from 4.2 with fat client to 5.0 with thin client (Web Client).

Has anyone experienced any challenges moving to 5.0 and Web Client?

We've recently upgraded 3 sites from 4.2 to 5 with NCC as well.

There were no real issues as we were moving onto new servers as well, instead of using the existing.

The Web stuff is a little confusing at first but as you get used to it it's good. The only thing missing is the Voice prompt editor. you'll still have to keep the fat client for that.

The other thing with teh web client is that it runs off SOAP which has to be installed under local admin rights.



It's not getting any smarter out there. You have to come to terms with stupidity, and make it work for you.
