Hi,

Can you advise if it is possible to amend the expiration frequency of the passwords in Symposium. Not trying to remove the forced change, just bring into line with our corporate policy.

Thanks

Changing the system password

Change your system password every thirty days to ensure system security.

1 On the Utilities menu, click Change Password .

2 In the Old Password box, type the existing password.

3 In the New Password box, type the new password.

4 In the Confirm New Password box, type the new password.

5 Click OK to confirm the password change.

Note

You must enter at least six characters when creating a new password. Only alphanumeric characters are valid.
Your password is only valid for 30 days. If you do not change you password within thirty days, you will be locked out of the system. Change Password notification messages begin seven days prior to the password’s expiry date.

We just recently had Client PEPs NS040107G015C, NS040107G012C and NS040107G018C loaded. One of those PEPs actually allow us (using a checked box) to have a desktop profile where the password does not expire. (appears etween "Reset Password" and "Lockout" buttons in the desktop User Properties tab)
