Have a strange on, in the fact that we have some PC's onsite running 4.2 client, and they have 512mb ram in them. Add and extra 512, and symposium runs, (you can see the user list etc) but if you try to go into the real time displays, or script functions, it give an 'Internal Error' message, and close

If you take the extra 512 out, then it works fine.

I have just installed a machine (all be it a server) which has 1gb ram in as standard, installed symposium clean, and get the same error.

I cant remove half the ram, as there are 2 512mb dimms in, and the machine needs pairs of ram in, but has anyone else suffered this issue with memory?

This is a known issue; there is a patch for it. You need:

Spot on :) Thanks for that

Logged a call with our service providor to supply the patch,

Any ideas how people are notified of patch upgrades (or PEPS?) We have a CD Rom with a few older PEPs on, but nothing new has been sent to us,

Would be handy to have emails from nortel etc when new stuff like this is released?

Thanks again for your help

Your service providers are supposed to be notified of these, and in turn notify you. That being said, I ran without that patch (and a machine that didn't work) until I came across the info here and asked for the patch from my service providor. Lets just say their notification system could use some work. We didn't know until 2 months ago that Sympo Exp v3.0 was being non-supported after Dec 31st. They didn't notify us until last minute.
