We have an Meridian Option 81C Release 25 that we might get upgraded and if we do then our Symposim Express 3.0 will need to get upgraded to 4.2.
My manager wants to know what the advantage is to go to 4.2.
Also, how long will Nortel support 3.0?

SECC 3.0 is End-of-Life as of this coming December 31, 2004.

However, the operating system is already obsolete (NT 4.0). Release 4.2 runs on Windows 2000 server.

Could you direct me to where I can officialy get the information that 3.0 is becoming obsolete.

Retirement and EOL Bulletin #EOL-2003-0234-Global, dated July 8, 2003. If you cannot get a copy, let me know and I can send it to you.

Could you please send it to me.
Thanks for the fast reply.
