Symnatec Corporate V.9 Automatic Update

Dear All :
How can I enable the HTTP autoupdate for the Corporate Edition V.9
How can I do the shedule ?
and how can I apply the update to all teh Clients ?

I gave it a lot of tries , but It wasn't been downloaded or updated !?

Any Advise ?

You can use liveupdate on the server which will download updates once a week and the server will automatically deploy them to all managed clients.

Or if you want daily update you can use the cegetter script to download to your server using a scheduled task mon-fri. Once downloaded and extracted the server will update and then auto update managed clients.

Yes , But I need to use the Automatic Update , not the XDB File update !

Then couldn't you just schedule Live Update? I use the method faithless describes to keep mine up to date and works brilliantly; whereas I found LiveUpdate would mysteriously work sometimes and sometimes not for no apparent reason.

Load the SSC goto the parent server > right click it > all tasks > symantec antivirus > virus definition manager > configure > schedule > select the schedule you want for your virus definition.

But live update only updates ONCE a week, unless there is an outbreak where they would do another release.
