Hey all.
I'm doing some regular frequency distributions and my log gives me a warning right after a title statement.

WARNING: Apparent symbolic reference S not resolved

Anyone have any ideas what that means? The help was as usual no help. The proc seems to be working properly so it's not abig deal. Just wondering.

Thank

Hi EpidTech,

looks like you make use of a macro variable S that has not been initialized, similar to:

Code:
1    data _null_;
2      put "&S.";
WARNING: Apparent symbolic reference S not resolved.
3    run;

Cheers'n'HappyNewYear,
Matthias
