Brand new to Avaya IP Office, I have a mix of digital and IP phones (9608G).
Just set up my first IP phone since the install and noticed all but this one have a little red symbol next to them.
Trainer when over these, but I can't recall what this was.

Also, user is not getting call history, or new vmail indicators. Thoughts?

Hotdesking

Means that you entered a password on the users telephony > Supervisor tab.

If you mean the red mark next to user name in Manager it means you have a password set on the telephony tab to login

My thoughts, if you have a problem, don't type 50 plus words and attach a picture for something else which you could have answered yourself by pressing F1, and then add just 12 words for the actual problem.

Suggest you repost with a lot more detail on the problem - type of phone, release of IP Office software, voicemail type, etc.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

No call history is because there are no appearance buttons setup for the user.
No VM indication? probably forbidden chars in the name.
