Hello, i have a question about a Symbol LS2208. On some computers the barcodereader gives me a wrong suffix. Instead of ^A i get a  character as prefix. I use one and the same scanner..

Thanks !

If you are using the same scanner, then:
the barcode reader gives me a wrong suffix
would be inaccurate.

As long as the scanner has not been programmed to be different between workstation #1 and workstation #2, then the barcode scanner will work the same way each and every time.
However how those characters are 'interpreted' within the recipient workstation may differ due to a number of things.
1. Are the differing workstations running the same OS?
2. Are the differing workstations running the same recipient application?
3. Is the Region and Language set the same on both workstations?

Have you tried running a 'generic' application such as Notepad and 'read' the scanner value(s) into it on both workstations?

Let us know.

Good Luck
