We have a MS word document on the LAN where multiple users can access and use it. When one of the users opens the file, all the symbols (little squares, circles......) from the file changed to G. This only happened to one user. How can I correct the problem?
I went to microsoft web site and found kb329366. According to Mircosoft: "To work around this issue, save the document to your computer before you make any changes. Edit the document, save it locally, and then copy the revised document back to the original location". I don't want to make any changes to this document and replace the original one because other people are using it with no problem.
Is there a better way to fix this issue? Thanks.
