Hi all,

I couldn't find another more appropiate forum for this, sorry if it seems off-topic to you.

I want to ask if anyone knows of an SDK for Symbian OS Series 60 for Visual Basic .NET or C# ?

I could only find some very good stuff on but I don't have $ 1200 lying around. It's for personal use, so I need something free or cheap at least ;)

Thanks for any good ideas!

Regards, Ruffnekk

The only one that Nokia lists on their site ( is Crossfire which you've already been looking at.

I'm not sure if that means that it is the only product that you can purchase, or whether that is the only product that they endorse, but I've not heard of any others.

It would seem strange if there aren't any freebies kicking about though...

I looked into this about 18 months ago and Crossfire was all I could find. I didn't buy it either!!

The biggest problem is that Crossfire is really cool, but when you use the eval version, the apps created with it expire in 2 days... I would have settled for a nag screen or something though ;) And I don't want a cracked version because I wouldn't want people to use my own apps cracked.
