In last two weeks, we've got this warning messages from BAB r 11.5, "Unable to open file. (FILE = path\SYMANTECGHOST.DB, EC=SHARING VIOLATION) ". Backup always success but incomplete for this only one file.
The symantec ghost already in there almost a year before, but somehow now it generates this error.
Somebody please help explain to me...

Thanks a lot,
Ludfi

well seems that for some reason that file is being kept open with a deny read. You can always put in an exclude filter for that file so the job will be complete again.

Thanks David,
But what I still curious is, what file is it ? and what is the effect if I lost this file and has no backup for it ?

Thanks again,
Ludfi
