Symantec Corp. Edition v 8.1

Can the Symantec System Center Console and a client be running on the same computer???
I don't see anything saying I can't but I keep on getting a microsoft error (wanting to send a report) when I shut down the console???? Any suggestions??

This is the error:

Microsoft Management Console has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Then it asks if I want to send an error report.?

This is a known issue and unfortunately Symantec is currently working on it. My thoughts only, but it looks like Microsoft and Symantec are looking at each other as the problem.

Try installing an older version off MMC:
I think this should work;

And / Or an older version of the Symantec SCC.

If that doesn't work make sure you have the latest MMC.

What versions are you running?
