Symantec CE 8.1

Hi, I have Symantec CE 8.1 running on a 2k server as a primary update server.
Weirdly, the liveupdate doesn't update the defs at the scheduled time, whereas when I log onto the box and click liveupdate, it works!!!
My guess is that the system account hasn't got enough permissions to run liveupdate or hasn't got access to the reg keys / folder it needs to install the defs too.

Any ideas?

You're probably right about the scheduling rights.

well all that seems as it should be apart for the local users group having permissions on one of the folders which I can't see being the issue. I'll leave it over the weekend and see how it goes when I get back in the office on Monday.
