Symantec Backup Exec 10.1 notification

Hey

We have a server that running backup exec on. We have e-mail notifiction on this. We have exclude the job success and job start. But exec still send e-mail notification on job success and job start.

Somebody got a god answer?? Thanks

the most logical thing i can think of is to, maybe restart the machine running your backup exec, or if there is a way to refresh you saved notifications, or even start fresh with your notification setting portion and just not ever select job success or job start, rather then selected it and then turning it off, i actually had a very simuliar issue with a simuliar backup application. the fix was deleting all the settings for email reminders and setting them all up again, i know ti sounds stupid but it worked

If the job was already scheduled or running.. you may need to resetup the job... a reboot may help
