Symantec AV 10 on Windows 2000 Professional

I have installed Windows 2000 Professional on new desktop and when I installed Symantec Server 10.0.2.2002 - in the Management Console on my computer is displays as being disabled - all services are running etc.

My question is - can install AV Server 10 on a Windows 2000 Professional machine or does it have to be installed on a Windows 2000 server.

it can be put on 2000P but here is the setup.
uninstall everything norton and/or symantic
install symantic antivirus server edition (not client both are on the same cd)
then install LU manger and symantic console
in that order.
i had the same issue
