Symantec Antivrus for SMTP gateway problem

Hi there,

All in a sudden, since last night, the SAV smtp gateway got problem - it can receive/scan emails, but after processing the emails, it cannot pass the emails to my mail server!

From SAV smtp gateway log file, many "Message Delivery Attempt Failed" entries there, however no more useful info/error code provided.

I rebooted both mail server & sav smtp g/w many times, didn't help.

Did a lot of troubleshootings, now narrow down the problem is "sav smtp g/w cannot pass emails to mail server". Wondering what's wrong with the sav smtp g/w? What else should I check?

It has been hanging there for 12+ hrs, I really need to fix it real soon!

Couple of things to check.... Make sure that the default routing is pointing to your mail server. Also make sure you have not placed a check in the "pause message delivery" option under setup.
