sybase to oracle connectivity

Hi,

I am using Oracle transparent gateway for sybase and create database link to get information from sybase into oracle , but I want to use connection manager inbetween , has anyone have experience on using connection manager with TG . I am facing error as ora-12545 . Any help will be helpful.
