Hi

We are looking to work with another company and need to interact with their database. They have a sybase database that was developed eons ago by the sounds of it which we are not allowed to touch. However, they have offered us the connection details to replicate it if we wish.

The database is probably older than me :-/ and I had never even heard of Sybase.

Has anyone any experience of it and importantly, do you think I can replicate it to MYSQL so that we can use info from it and add info back in?

Thank you for any info

Try starting here, not sure if it will work for your particular DB, but it may give you a reference, and starting point.
