Sybase open spesific database

hi,

can someone supply me a code example for how to commit sql command
form a specific database called X and a specific table called Y?

is there a programming guide for how to get started with sybase?

I'm sure there are zillions of RDBMS/SQL tutorials on the net. "Transact SQL" is the ANSI extension that Sybase uses (also MSSQL).
