Does anyone know what the database password is for Sybase-SQL. As you know this has not been supported for many years and I am trying to pull the real-time data off of it and broadcast it to Symon reader boards.

For Symon, you need a user account with admingroup privileges (such as sysadmin). Even with Symposium 1.5, I have always created a Symonview account with admingroup privileges and used that. You may need to initially set the password to "password" in Symon, then go back in and set it to the actual password for that account.

They don't like you to use it cause you can modify the database structure with it but its:

blue
abc123

Or at least that is what they used to default it to....

Thank you, that worked I have been trying to get this for years.

Yea I asked for it back when version 1.0 came out and our vendor was so busy to please us they coughed it up before they realized what it was used for...

Also you know that all you have to do to access the database is set yourself up with a User Profile and assign a class of service that gives you access to Real-Time Displays. You can use the login and password from that user account to access that information for readerboards I believe.
