Sybase 12.5 with e*gate 4.5.3 error

Hello,

I'm using e*gate 4.5.3 with a sybase 12.5 infrastructure.
-> I managed to get e*insight to work OK
-> However I'm unable to use the JDBC/ODBC connector (the native Sybase connector works once the <drive>:\eGate\client\ThirdParty\sybase\classes ... etc is added)
I get the folowing error:
&quot;com.stc.common.collabService.CollabConnException: Fail to open connection; opened connection for connector 'ewc_TEC_db_EAI:OUT_HISTO' but its isOpen() returned
false.&quot;
In termes of license cost I'de prefer to use the JDBC/ODBC since I have applications on Sybase, SQL SERVER, & ORACLE and I don't realy want to buy all three !
