I am looking at the table SY05000 and see that it shows all audit of GP and lists the userid. However, one of our users is only listed in there as User Login Fail. It does not show any other audit of his. So far we see all other users what they do except for this one. Users in the same user class too. Is there a setting somewhere that needs to be changed.

Thanks

Go to Setup>System>Activity Tracking and find the user you are looking for and make sure he/she is checked for all Activity Type.

Failed login attempts can only be tracked if the user does eventually login before they get kicked out.

3 failed login attempts cannot be tracked in a table as we don't have access to the table, because we are not logged in.

This is a "Catch 22" situation.

klewis - that was it. Thanks. I don't know how I missed that.

David what I meant by failed logon was that the user had been knocked off the system by power failure etc and accoeding the GP they attempted to log on again while logged on already.
