SX200icp line problem

I have a customer with a 200 icp running 3.1. They have multiple appearences of the main line on their phone. When they are on the line and try to answer a second call it conferences the lines together. The original line is put on hold before they try to answer.

Any ideas?
 
Reminds me of a joke, you know - you go to the doctor and tell him/her it hurts when I do this. He/She says... so don't do that.

It is likely something the user is doing that they shouldn't be doing.

If you have duplicated the issue, give us exact steps.

Occam's Razor - All things being equal, the simplest solution is the right one.
 
The original line is put on hold before they try to answer" probably have option 601 "auto hold disable" disabled option 601. Double negative.
As a shot in the dark, if you enable 601 does it still happen, quick and easy check. Could be a procedure thing, like kwbMitel says if we see the exact steps will help.
