I am unable to get our hunt groups to forward to a specific VM box on a no answer condition when a call is transfered from an internal extension to the HG pilot number. Forwarding works as expected when the HG pilot is called as a DID. I have built the VM as an ONS extension and I can get the calls to forward to VM but it will only go to the AA greeting. I have set up forwardind to the ONS extension and tried using a Speed dial string but the results are teh same. Any suggestions. our software release is 5.02.3

What voicemail box are you trying to send it to and what is the DN of the hunt group? What is probably happening is that you are forwarding to your ONS extension. When voicemail (I assume embedded) answers it is still seeing the original extension that is transferring, ie your hunt group number. To make all of your hunt groups go to one mailbox is tricky. How many hunt groups are you talking about? You can create a new hunt group as # or * so #(your ons number here), ie #200. When that hits the voicemail it will ignore the # and use 200 as the correct mailbox. If you are only using 3 digit extensions then you could try a combination: #200, *200, ##200, **200, #*200, *#200. If you have more than that number of hunt groups I think you need to look into multiple mailboxes.

Thanks,
