Hi
On a SX2000, is the sys id recorded on the machine anywhere. Got an old one can't power up and need to try to find out whats on the licences.
Regards

Sys id is on the control resource card when booted go into form dimension and system select

The form name is DIM A F S (note spacing)

The long name is Dimensions and Feature Selection

And to be safe, I would recommend using "read" mode <ESC-6> rather than read/write

I know where to find it on a machine thats running, but this will not fire, also have a copuple that i don't know the password. Wondering if the sys id is stamped anywhere like the 3300 sis id module / button.

the ID module is a daughterboard on the control resource card. there should be a paper tag on the id module that has the sysid printed on it

30 years and it's still true.....NO GOOD DEED GOES UNPUNISHED!
