SX2000 Trunk Numbering

Hi,

The SMDR for the SX2000 reports only the trunk number, and not the route, in the SMDR. The trunk number is prefixed by a T for PSTN trunks, e.g. T112, and an X for tie-lines (pw's), e.g. X250. I have always believed the trunk number to be unique. However I have seen some example data where the number is repeated between the types, e.g. T150 and X150. Is this possible? I am not sure of the source of the data so it may have been edited.

If you are using 4 digit trunk numbers you need to set Extended Data to Yes in the SMDR form to get the full trunk number in the SMDR output.

if you are using 3 digit trunk numbers then the extended SMDR will not serve any purpose. If your trunk numbers exceed 3 digits then the system only displays the last 3 unless extensed SMDR is enabled.

In a 3 digit scheme, T150 and X150 could not co-exist.

With 3 digit trunk numbers I would say Yes, something is wrong with your data.
