SX2000 Hunt Group

Hey Folks,

Got a weird issue, on a Redundant SX2000 running LW34.2 ive got 40+ users in a hunt group, some of which are DND. When the hunt group rings, it is selecting the DND members as well, the caller hears ringing, yet (obviously as its in DND) the ext doesnt.

Tried creating a brand new HG with 2 exts that are DND, I get ring tone (The exts on the desks dont ring). Logged into another similar system on the same software load, created a HG with 2 exts in DND and I get busy tone, which I expected originally.

The HG in question is just a bog standard HG. Any ideas?

Are the incoming calls from a trunk?

I think trunk calls override do not disturb.

Look in SMDR. If the call is from a Txxxx then it will ignore DND.
If it's from Xxxxx then it should honour it and get DND tone.

Check for reroutes otherwise.

Hi, thanks for the reply. The calls are trunk calls, but on the other system with exact same software, the trunk calls get busy tone back. On this one, the calls ring out to the caller.

I checke for manual input forwards, but never thought about reroutes...

Will check that next!

It sounds like Campon is enabled for the trunks on one system and not on the other.

With Campon the system will provide ringback even when all members are busy.

Go to the COS form for the trunk and set Camp on timer to blank. This will disable Camp on for the trunks and give a busy signal if in DND.

Hi Guys,

Already checked the campon. The current working theory is that the provider is screwing the messaging up. I will double check the campon though, just in case!!
