Hi I need to change some of the values in the DIM Select form as the system is full and says there is no more room for any more entries this is in sys speedcalls as an example or any form that you try and enter a new entry.

Can someone tell me the DIM SELECT password and the correct way to reduce some values and then increase certain values in the DIM SELECT form

Thanks

Hi,

Data save first! You will need to restore the database later.

The password for Dimension Selection form is: FLXDIMPW

Remove some of the broadcast groups - there are lots of them and they have a large unit size, then commit and confirm.

You should now show some free memory.

Then add system speedcalls as needed.

Then use maintenance command 'dim save'

Then restart the system.

You will then need to restore the backup you took earlier.

Make sure you 'Use current dimensions' when asked.

DBMS save after restore is complete.

To be clear; once you flex the dimensions you will have to always use the current dimensions when restoring a database on this system..

I suppose you're entitled to your opinion, I'm just not going to suppose very hard.
