Hi

Ive been given the task of seeing if its possible of connecting the second trunk port on our SX2000 using an xover to our Cisco 5300 which has a 4 port pri card.

The SX2000 is the area that i need the guidence with in terms of the trunk config. If anyone has experience of this setup or configuring the trunk ports that would be excellent

Regards
martin

Can we assume you know how to do the System Config work and get the Universal Pri card (or NSU) installed?

You will need to first define a new Digital Link Descriptor
Address for msg cntrl = A
mostly default falues except:
Integrated Digital access = ISDN Node
Qsig = yes <--- purchaseable option, required
B8ZS = yes
Operation Mode = DSX-1
LBO = 0
ESF = NO <---(!)

Use IMAT to set the protocol variant on the card to QSIG (QSIG ISO)(slave)

Good luck.
