I am working with a customer site where there is an SX2000 connected to a Dialogic D/120 JCT board. I have a few questions that someone may answer for me. What I am looking for is how too get the Dialogic board to recognize that the Mitel analog set has hung up the call? Some systems send a loop current drop and some (such as Nortel) send a disconnect tone. What does Mitel do? I am still trying to get this site to tell me what kind of hardware they are using. I also know nothing about Mitel (I'm an old Nortel guy) so any response will need to be pretty specific. Thanks in advance.

the SX2000 will return dialtone after a party hangs up. I brlieve that this is what a lot of the integrations use to detect a hangup. Mitel does provide a disconnect on newer cards and software, but most sites do not have that capability.

Thanks. Q:
How is this configured in the system? I do not think this is something that is turned on by default.

It's on by default on the 2k. I don't think it can be turned off either.
