Sx200 Installer password

I want to try to somehow figure out how mitel is able to reset the passwords through the modem. im currently a dealer within my company and i want to some how try to crack the password of a 200 system. For the fun of it to just to be able to. i have 2 in my house both of course with the default..


i know they come in through a backdoor / possibily a program that updates and goes through the files. thanks

If you have access to a backup via maint1 or maint2 it is simple to use a HEX editor to change the installer password. If you need more details than that, you shouldnt be considering doing it.

If you do not have access at any level, I can't help.

In other words you need to have access to the physical media of your system. Backup is also a good source of information.

i was trying to view it with the hex but i cant seem to find it in there...

but do i have to change it or encrypt it to view it ....

couldnt seem to unpack the berkerly db file. in the 3300 i see a whole list of db files but not the 200 backup wont let me unpack it in the winrar..
