SX200 ICP>MWI Keeps Blinking

I've got an SX200 ICP 5.0.2.12
The MWI keeps flashing on the phone. There are no new voice messages. I've cleared the messages from the console. I deleted the extension and mailbox then re added them but the MWI continues to flash.

Any and all assistance is appreciated.

I forgot to mention that I checked the room in, called and left a message. Checked the message. Checked the room out. The MWI continues to flash.

This is only happening on analog room phones.

You deleted a phone that had Message lamp flashing?

I would bet a significant amount of dollars that the system does not let you do that.

Try actually to set a lamp against a phone and try to delete while message is active.

I think you're chasing ghosts.

The system did let me delete the mailbox, that had a message in it or what I've learned is that the system let me delete a mailbox of a phone that had it's message waiting lamp flashing. The mailbox had no messages waiting.

The problem was the analog phone. This model of phone has an external power source. I unplugged the phones power brick for a few moments. Plugged the power brick back into the outlet. The MWI lamp was no longer blinking.

The voltage sent to the MWI lamp on the phone, from the PBX, must not have discharged after the PBX turned the MWI lamp off. Although I'm not sure what caused it in the first place.

The MWI lamp has stopped flashing, for now... I'm thinking it will be back in the future.
