Can I multi-call appearance extension button be programmed to cover to a voice mailbox? For example, I've programmed a multi-call appearnce button of 700 for the sales department on each salesman's 53xx telephone. I want calls to 700 to ring for 30 seconds before transferring to a general sales mailbox.

I can program mailbox 700. However, I cannot assign 700 a COS. Therefore, there are no call forward no answer timers associated to 700 as far as I know.

Is there a work around?

Not if the Multi-call appears on more than 1 set.

You can program a phantom extension and then make appearances of the phantom that will follow routing of the phantom.
